Watch: How Compliance will Make or Break it for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Suppliers

While an OEM is responsible to ensure that standards and regulatory demands are met, much of the practical implementation of cybersecurity measures fall upon Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers of automotive components. Whether or not a supplier proves their cybersecurity compliance can determine whether an OEM will continue to do business with them.

Watch the third webinar in our standards and regulations series, a live discussion with Giuseppe Serio, Upstream’s Senior Director of Market Development along with a panel of experts and Tier 1 and 2 supplier representatives including:

  • Deloitte: Ingo Dassow, Global Lead Automotive Cybersecurity
  • Marelli: Luca Bertoglio, Global Chief Information Security Officer and Head of IT innovation
  • Motional: Charles Wilson, Principal Engineer, Cybersecurity Development Lifecycle Practice

Webinar highlights:

  • What is demanded of Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers with regards to the WP.29 (R155) regulation and the ISO/SAE 212434 standard?
  • What are the challenges and implications of the regulation for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers?
  • What are some opportunities that suppliers have to differentiate themselves in the eyes of OEMs when it comes to compliance?
  • What threats must be mitigated at Tier 1 or Tier 2 component level according to the standard and regulation?
