How does the Upstream Platform help with WP.29 & ISO/SAE 21434 compliance?

TEAM UPSTREAM

Our advanced agentless automotive cybersecurity solution is rapidly deployed and based on existing telematics data streams, so you can comply and protect in line with WP.29 as well as ISO/SAE21434. Quickly go from onboarding to securing both new vehicles and those that are already on the road today. Why Upstream for Commercial and consumer vehicles? Risk detection and management through our purpose-built mobility digital twin. This digital representation of each vehicle combines multiple data sources to offer the full state of the monitored asset at any point in time.

The Upstream Platform stays up to date with the ever-changing threat landscape by incorporating insights, derived from Upstream’s industry-leading threat intelligence platform, AutoThreat. Our ability to apply sophisticated detection that reduces false positives and prevents clutter enables effective response automation. We secure the primary elements of vehicle connectivity: The vehicle itself, its communication channels, and the backend systems. Want to see how it can work for you? Contact us!

Annex 5 of the U-N-E-C-E WP.29 R1-55 regulation and the ISO/S-A-E 2-1-4-3-4 standard focus on the connected vehicle ecosystem. They require OEMs & fleet operators to monitor connected vehicle data to protect each vehicle, protect customer data, and respond to any threat in a reasonable time frame in post-production.

Upstream offers a Vehicle Extended Detection & Response (VXDR) solution, that achieves all of these by:

  1. Offering an agentless solution that does not require in-vehicle installation and can be rapidly deployed. We apply real-time monitoring and detection to mobility data that is collected by the OEMs. The Upstream platform uses this information to detect anomalies and attacks in new vehicles, as well as those already on the road today.
  2. We provide risk detection and management through our purpose-built mobility digital twin. This digital representation of each vehicle combines multiple data sources to offer the full state of the monitored asset at any point in time.
  3. The Upstream Platform stays up to date with the ever-changing threat landscape by incorporating insights, derived from Upstream’s industry-leading threat intelligence platform, AutoThreat.
  4. Our ability to apply sophisticated detection that reduces false positives and prevents clutter enables effective response automation.
  5. And lastly, we secure the primary elements of vehicle connectivity: The vehicle itself, its communication channels, and the backend systems.

The platform offers the required flexibility to keep up with changes introduced to the monitored ecosystem as well as the development of new detection techniques to keep up with emerging threats.
