DLD 2024 (Digital-Life-Design) is a world-renowned innovation conference, that provides a platform for people eager to change the world in the digital era.

Yoav Levy, Upstream’s Co-Founder and CEO, was invited to provide his viewpoint on ‘Applications for Future Mobility’ during an eye-opening panel alongside Stefan Ender, Co-founder & Managing Director at DeepDrive, and Marcus Behrendt, Managing Director at BMW i Ventures.

Here are some highlights from his talk:

  • Upstream’s vision is to secure smart mobility and connected vehicle space.
  • Connected vehicles are complex, basically computers on wheels, 100 million lines of code, sensors, computers, and cameras. As vehicles become more connected, new threats are introduced.
  • GenAI – we’re using GenAI in the vSOC where we investigate alerts and instigate playbooks, helping analysts do their job better and speeding time-to-resolution.
  • Trends we’ll see in 2024 – data monetization, greater usage of ML and GenAI to detect and predict failures earlier in the lifecycle of vehicles.
