Each of the 50 startups (full list is available here) will now be auditioned by the Prize’s expert jury. The 10 finalists will have the opportunity to pitch at the official awards ceremony, which will take place on 5 June 2025 in Rzeszów, Poland, as part of the European Commission’s EU Industry Days and under the patronage of the Polish EU Presidency.
Securing the Future of Sustainable and Clean Mobility
The rapid adoption of electric vehicles has driven a surge in demand for EV charging stations (EVCS) and supporting applications, bolstered by government investments in charging infrastructure. While connected EVCS systems enhance operational efficiency and provide valuable data-driven insights, they also introduce new risks of cyberattacks, data breaches, and power grid disruptions. These threats not only compromise service availability but also hinder the transition to sustainable mobility by undermining trust in EV ecosystems.
Upstream’s purpose-built cybersecurity Detection & Response platform (XDR) ensures proactive cyber threat monitoring and detection, rapid response, and effective remediation to protect EV charging infrastructure. By securing this critical component of the electric vehicle ecosystem, Upstream helps enable a resilient and sustainable future for mobility.
